One of Herriman’s most competitive sports played at Herriman High school so far this year has been the volleyball. The team is lead by Coach Nicholson and Coach Jensen, or Co-J, as her players affectionately call her. The Lady Mustangs made it their goal this year to give every game their best effort, but they remembered to have fun as well. Though they did not make it to the state tournament, the team gave it their best shot. “We had a really good time and it was a lot fun” said Ella Quealy, Junior, a seasoned member of the volleyball team. After a fun season, many of the players are already looking forward to playing on the volleyball team next year, where they look forward to a successful future in volleyball.
