One of the most important things that can be done to prevent injuries is wearing and using the right equipment for the sport. Utilizing the right shoes, gear, and equipment for the sport can keep you safe from injuries. It is essential that gear be the right size and fit the player well. Warming up before playing a sport can prevent many serious injuries. Stretching gets your body ready for more strenuous activities and helps your muscles become more flexible and less likely to be hurt while playing sports. Staying hydrated is also an essential part of being healthy and safe while playing sports. Drinking lots of water or Gatorade is the best way to prevent dehydration and replace the water that is being lost through sweat as you play.#If you are injured while playing a sport, be sure to fully recover before going back to it. Further injury can come much easier while playing a sport with existing conditions, and experts generally recommend the approval of your doctor before returning to a sport.
