The Telegraph

Ambitious. Studious. Focused. These words are cornerstone to Max Gordon, Sports Editor for the Telegraph who has his eyes set on success. “I moved to a small town in Idaho in first grade where there were only two things to do: bowling and swimming.” He’s grown worlds beyond this small town in the past five years: he’s taking AP Calculus, AP U.S History, and competes on a Soccer Team, Forza. “I’ve been playing on it for two years now… I enjoy playing sports to keep in shape.” Soccer isn’t his only sports passion, “I was in the school’s football team, but I have a high workload so I switched to playing soccer competitively outside of school.” He even skipped a year of French and then jumped back into it this year. “I’m really hoping to get into a good college, and keep my doors open.” For this reason he’s looking forward to the ACT, mainly to get it over with. When he graduates he hopes to go into business, marketing, or to become a lawyer. He’s got his eyes on the Pennsylvania University, working as hard as he can to ensure acceptance.   For the time being he spends his little free time playing Fantasy Football, and watching Football. It helps him to unwind after a long day of intensive academics. Max has three siblings, a brother and two sisters that look up to him as the oldest. He’s sure paving the way for them and setting a noteworthy example.
