Lady Mustangs Volleyball had a very successful season this year! They came away with many wins and made Herriman High School proud.
When asked what her favorite thing about volleyball was, team captain Shelby Nelson (12) said, “My favorite thing about volleyball is that it is the #1 team sport. You have to do everything as a team.”
Their workouts started all the way back in June and ranged from weights, hill workouts, and plyometrics.
Hannah Davis (12) said that her team is all extremely competitive, they push each other to work hard, and are great friends on and off the court.
Volleyball is the ultimate team sport because it takes every single player on the court to get the job done and score.
“My best memory of the season is senior night. It is always special because you get to see the culmination of a lot of hard work and it is a special event for girls that you have spent a lot of time with and it is nice to honor them and their parents,” said head coach Bryan Nicholson.
Volleyball showed us that they definitely have what it takes to be on top.
