Joe Biden Wins Close 2020 U.S. Presidential Election

November 7, 2020

Today, around 9:30 A.M., Joe Biden and the Democrat Party won Pennsylvania, a crucial 20 electoral votes that put Biden past 270 electoral votes. This comes after a surge of mail-in votes for Biden in Pennsylvania after the first night of the election. This allowed Biden to surpass his opponent, Donald J.Trump.

The final states that have yet to finish counting ballots are North Carolina, Georgia, Nevada, and Arizona, and with the exception of North Carolina, Joe Biden has current leads on those three states.

Prior to the Pennsylvania win, the Trump Administration announced that they launched lawsuits in three states, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Georgia, accusing the three states of voter fraud, and requested a recount in Wisconsin, after the overnight surge of mail-in votes for Joe Biden.

But remember, whether you’re in support of Joe Biden or support of Donald Trump, we’re united here at Herriman High as classmates, friends, and teammates. Let’s continue to work together, win, and succeed!
