Violet Moon, Assistant-Editor-in-Chief
Violet Moon is a senior editor. Being a first generation immigrant from South Korea, she is fluent in English and Korean. She has been the president of Asian Student Union for two years and a National Honors Society officer for one. She loves reading and her favorite books include: ‘The Sun Does Shine’ by Anthony Ray Hinton, ‘Just Mercy’ by Bryan Stevenson, and ‘Where the Mountain Meets the Moon’ by Grace Lin. She’s been playing the piano for about 12 years. Her favorite pieces are Chopin’s Nocturne No. 9 in C Minor and Rachmaninov’s Second Concerto. Her favorite classes include: philosophy, World War II, U.S. and world history. She is aspiring to be a criminal defense attorney and plans to attend the University of Utah for her undergraduate degree in criminal justice, english, or history and get into a T20 law school.
