College Football Playoff Preview

Yes, it’s Christmas time, but it’s also time for College Football Playoffs! With the regular season over, it’s time to look and see who’s competing for a National Championship in this year’s playoffs.

1. LSU-

LSU has built a killer team this year with three great linebackers in K’Lavon Chaisson, Jacob Phillips, and Patrick Queen. LSU is undefeated and has had no questions with strength of schedule with wins over top 15 ranked teams Florida, Auburn, and Alabama.

Joe Burrow has had an amazing season as LSU’s Quarterback and is on track to most likely win the Heisman Trophy. The matchup between them and LSU is going to be a great game for the Peach Bowl.

2. Ohio State-

Ohio State has built a great offense surrounding their quarterback, Justin Fields, who also is a top Heisman candidate this year. They have some solid wins this season against teams like Cincinnati, Indiana, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Penn State. There is no question that they are a well-qualified team and will have a good matchup against Clemson.

3. Clemson-

Clemson has found a gem of a quarterback in Trevor Lawrence. Lawrence has thrown 252 passes and completed 169  for a completion percentage of 67.1% and thrown 23 touchdown passes and 8 interceptions. Clemson hasn’t played any really good teams this year and will face their first challenge against Ohio State in the Fiesta Bowl.

4. Oklahoma-

Oklahoma had a very strong season with transfer quarterback Jalen Hurts and has solid wins this season over Baylor and Oklahoma State. They beat Baylor in overtime for the Big 12 Championship to help make a case for their College Football Playoff spot, with the help of Oregon beating Utah in the Pac-12 Championship. Oklahoma is going to face a big challenge with LSU but it will be a good game for sure.
