Boy’s Golf: future looking bright

Herriman High School’s Boy’s golf team this season was all about improvement. Many young players, including two freshmen and two sophomores, were playing for the team and as the season went on they got better and better. The entire team was playing their best golf at the end of the season with strong finishes in their final two tournaments. The team was led by golfer Andrew Hartley who shot a very impressive 77 at Mountain Dale. The Boy’s Golf Coach, Jeff Price, is excited about the future of the team. “We are only losing one senior and will have a lot of good players returning next year,” Coach Price says. Some of these returning players include: Andrew Hartley, Tanner Palmer, Jaret Kadlec,Cooper Richards, Peyton Colemere, Matthew Silva and Colton Bailey.  He believes they have a good chance at competing in the state tournament  next year and says that will be their number one goal.
